Blizzard!!

Okay, so there has been a bit of a cooking/shopping hiatus, but things will be back in a bit.  Still, other exciting things are happening in my world.  For example, there was a blizzard on Friday so there was snow for me to play in!

Look how much snow there was!  (that is Another Person being silly in the snow)

Here is video of my snowy walk:

Princess and the Pea

There are less food postings this week, not because of the lack of groceries, but because of the social engagements that need to be attended to.  Only a temporary setback.  In the meantime, here is a video of what happens when you place a rubber band on my back.  As you can see, I have issues with having foreign objects on my body.

My Morning Commute

Yesterday was a big day for me!!  My Persons went to the Knicks game last night so I have no dinner to post, so instead, today I decided that I will tell you about my morning commute.

I live with My Person on the fifth floor of a walk-up.  The building has a bunch of pre-war charm, but so. many. stairs.  I am about to turn 6 in dog years, 42 in human years, and this 6/42 year old body just isn’t what it used to be.  That being said, here is some video of my morning schlep.

[Warning: these videos may make you a bit dizzy]

Down:  (my bum is so wobbly!)

Up:

My own damn pinwheel

Today, I saw this on the internets:

While those scotties are plenty cute, I just want to say that I have been doing the same thing ever since I got my very own “slow-feeding dish”.   Let me explain.  This dish is basically a torture device that My Person bought for me because apparently, I scarf down my food at an unhealthy rate.  The food falls into the ring-shaped cavity and there is no way to get at it, but to do this pinwheel dance.  Note that my pinwheel action is intermittent – see, for example, 1:44 and 2:06.

See my version here:

Bonus: see how good I am at taking direction and being patient!
